JOB SUMMARY

Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Bookeeper to manage all financial activities for our law firm

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:· Ensure efficient and accurate processing of accounts payable/receivable, client trust accounts, and payroll.· Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports for senior management.· Manage collections, including following up on outstanding client payments and billing issues.· Coordinate and manage the firm's payroll processing, including reviewing timecards, deductions, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.Required Skills & Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.· Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on payroll, bookkeeping, and collections.· Proven experience working in a law firm or legal services environment is highly preferred.· Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Elite, Aderant, or similar).· Excellent communication and organizational skills.· High level of attention to detail and accuracy.Preferred Qualifications:· Experience with variable collections, including managing client payment plans and working with attorneys to resolve billing discrepancies.· Knowledge of state and federal tax laws as they pertain to law firm finances.· Familiarity with legal industry-specific software and tools.ONSITE POSITION: Royal Offices, Mogotio RoadWork Schedule: The position requires coverage from Monday to Friday, with shifts from the 8:00am to 6:00pm PST (7:00pm - 5am KENYA TIME)
