The role involves streamlining workflows, optimizing resources, and implementing strategies to enhance performance and profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency.Monitor and optimize resource utilization, including staffing, equipment, and budgets.Oversee supply chain processes, procurement, and inventory management.Ensure compliance with quality control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Manage and mentor operational staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness.Prepare performance reports and recommend data-driven improvements.Assist in budget management, cost control, and financial planning.Implement process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance operational performance.Collaborate with department heads and senior management to align operations with company goals.Qualifications and SkillsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.A Master’s degree is an added advantage.Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management.Proven leadership experience in managing teams and optimizing workflows.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in budgeting, cost analysis, and resource allocation.Expertise in process optimization, quality control, and inventory management.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Application Process:Interested candidates are invited to submit their application letter and CV to recruitment.eastafrica@amsco-africa.com by 30 January 2025.
