E-learning Content Creator

WSV is a UK social enterprise. Our mission is to ensure people in communities have long-term access to affordable products and services with the dignity and empowerment of consumers and entrepreneurs, as opposed to beneficiaries.

We do this by developing micro-business solutions that tackle social problems. Once proven, we brand and package them into a “Business in a Box”; which we sell to NGOs to implement in the communities they work in, with our continuous support and improvements - a social franchise.

Our portfolio of 3 social franchises provides access to reusable sanitary pads and education, makes affordable hand crafter soaps, and provides access to solar products and power to those unable to purchase solar products.

We are now in the process of taking these learnings and packaging them into a self-study open sourced training, so that organisations and communities everywhere can unpack a business in a box and start providing impactful products to their communities.

What we are looking for from you

As the E-learning Content Creator you will be responsible for creating an open source version of our Businesses in a Box that will be hosted online. The completed package will then be shared with NGOs, community groups, and other organisations that can implement them. We are looking for someone who can work independently to distil from the existing training materials and content, the key items that should be included in the open source version.

• Enjoy solving problems and finding creative solutions.
• Are looking to develop yourself and face new challenges.

And, are someone who:

• Has proven experience in graphic design, video editing and content creation
• Has a basic level of tech literacy so as to upload and set up content on an online open source training platform.
• Has experience developing training materials and creating video content for training.
• Experience delivering training is highly desirable.
• Has worked for, founded or worked with small/new businesses
