JOB SUMMARY
The Nurse Tutor at MedPrime Training College will be responsible for developing and delivering healthcare-related curriculum in line with industry standards. This role includes creating lesson plans, conducting engaging lectures and workshops, and utilizing educational tools to enhance student participation. The Nurse Tutor will assess student progress through quizzes and practical evaluations, provide academic support and mentorship, and ensure accurate record-keeping of student performance. Additionally, the Tutor will administer exams, foster a positive learning environment, and ensure compliance with college policies. Organizing student inductions and participating in continuous professional development are also key responsibilities. RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Curriculum Development· Develop and update healthcare-related course content in line with industry standards and best practices.· Create detailed lesson plans and instructional materials for effective teaching.2. Instructional Delivery· Conduct engaging lectures, workshops, and hands-on training sessions using diverse teaching methodologies.· Utilize educational tools and technologies to enhance student learning and participation.3. Student Assessment· Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and practical evaluations to monitor student progress.· Provide constructive feedback and support students' academic growth.4. Academic Support & Mentorship· Offer academic guidance and mentorship to help students achieve their professional goals.5. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement· Work with colleagues to enhance course content and teaching techniques.· Participate in professional development to stay updated on healthcare and educational trends.6. Record-Keeping· Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance.7. Student Engagement· Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.8. Exam Administration & Grading· Administer exams and ensure timely grading with fairness and consistency.9. Compliance· Ensure adherence to college policies, accreditation standards, and ethical teaching practices.10. Student Induction· Help in organizing and conducting student inductions, helping them familiarize with college policies and resources.Any Other duties assigned by the management.
