IMARA Home Fibre Ltd is a fast-growing ISP delivering reliable, high-speed fibre connectivity to residential and commercial customers across Nairobi. We are seeking an experienced Network & Fibre Optics Technician to support our growing network infrastructure.

Min Qualification: Certificate Experience Level: Mid level Experience Length: 1 year Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 9 to 5 Applicant Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Job descriptions & requirements

Install, configure & maintain fibre optic networks (FTTH/FTTB)

Fibre splicing, testing & fault diagnosis (OTDR, power meter)

Deploy & maintain wireless hotspots and access points

Install & configure CPE (routers, ONTs, PoE devices)

Support PPPoE subscriber connections & troubleshoot issues

Preventive maintenance & network optimization

Rollout of new sites — cabling, mounting, equipment setup

Maintain documentation of installations, faults & resolutions

Adhere to safety standards on poles, rooftops & infrastructure
