JOB SUMMARY

The National Workshop Manager will oversee the maintenance and repair of 100+ heavy trucks across multiple sites, ensuring operational efficiency, minimal downtime, and compliance with safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:Workshop Oversight: Manage daily workshop operations, ensuring trucks are maintained and serviced on schedule.Maintenance Scheduling: Develop preventive maintenance plans and oversee urgent repairs to reduce downtime.Team Management: Lead and develop workshop staff, focusing on skill enhancement and performance.Inventory & Budget Control: Manage spare parts inventory, budget maintenance costs, and work with vendors for cost-effective solutions.Safety Compliance: Ensure workshops adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.Fleet Optimization: Track fleet performance, analyze maintenance data, and implement efficiency improvements.Qualifications:Education: Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or equivalent.Experience: 8+ years in fleet maintenance, including 5+ years in a management role.Skills: Strong technical knowledge of truck maintenance, leadership abilities, and budget management.
