Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Purpose

The M&E Officer will support the implementation of the project by ensuring that monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) activities are effectively integrated into all project phases. The role includes tracking progress, assessing project impact, ensuring data quality, and supporting evidence-based decision-making to optimize projects outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in, Social Sciences, Statistics, Monitoring and Evaluation or a related field.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in M&E roles within a development or education focused project.

• Proficiency in data management and analysis software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, or other M&E tools).

• Experience in developing and implementing M&E frameworks.

• Strong report writing and presentation skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

• Ready to do field work in Informal settlement

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with TVET systems and employability programs.

• Experience with web-based database systems.

• Knowledge of labor market dynamics and economic development programs.
