Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Mid Manager to take charge of the end-to-end management of our company’s operations, including overseeing sales, daily operations, and general management functions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving business growth, streamlining operations, and leading a team to achieve both short-term and long-term objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on leadership experience and a deep understanding of operational processes, sales strategies, and overall business management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Management:
- Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Manage and mentor the sales team, ensuring targets and KPIs are consistently met.
- Prepare sales reports and provide insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
2. General Management:
- Take ownership of the company's overall performance and accountability for achieving business goals.
- Handle all aspects of budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation to ensure effective use of company resources.
- Drive strategic decision-making and business planning, in alignment with the company’s vision and goals.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in sales, operations, and general management.
- Strong track record in driving sales and managing operational functions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver high performance.
- Familiarity with AWS (Amazon Web Services) or other cloud technologies is a significant advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of the African market and business landscape is essential.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure, make informed decisions, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Knowledge and experience in cloud technologies, specifically AWS, would be highly beneficial.
- Proficient in business management software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, project management tools).
