Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Merchandiser/Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team starting in January 2024. This role focuses on promoting our Glamor product line to both retail and institutional (B2B) clients while ensuring exceptional product visibility in the market. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a strong understanding of B2B and B2C dynamics, and experience leveraging social media for sales and marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Sales Promotion: Actively promote the Glamor product line to retail customers &institutions emphasizing the unique benefits and features of our products. 
  • Social Media Marketing: Use social media platforms effectively to engage audiences, promote products, and drive leads and conversions. 
  • Merchandising: Ensure optimal product placement and visibility in stores, creating attractive displays that enhance brand presence and drive sales. 
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and inform sales strategies. 
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and institutions to foster loyalty and repeat business. 
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with supply chain teams to manage inventory levels, ensuring product availability aligns with sales forecasts. 
  • Reporting: Track and analyze sales data, providing regular reports to management on performance metrics and market feedback.


Qualifications 

  • At least a diploma in Sales and Marketing or a related field 
  • Proven experience in sales or merchandising, preferably within the consumer goods or detergent industry. 
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. 
  •  A passion for sustainability and commitment to promoting eco-friendly products. 


Compensation Salary: Kshs 15,000 per month plus commission based on sales performance.
