Job Description

The Nyayo Tea Zones Development Corporation was established through a Legal Gazette Notice No. of as a State Corporation with the aim of promoting forest conservation by providing buffer zones of tea and assorted tree species to check against human encroachment into the forestland.

Job specification

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:

Maintaining safe custody of the motor vehicles spares tools and equipment assigned; Implementing preventive maintenance schedules for the Motor vehicles; Maintaining and repairs of the corporation’s Motor vehicles as per set quality standards; Carrying out inspection and repairs of motor vehicles as instructed by the senior Transport and Logistics Officer; and Repairing to minor breakdowns of the motor vehicles in the corporation.

Person Specifications

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have; Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) D plain; Certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics; Basic First Aid Training certificate; and Proficiency in computer applications.
