JOB TITLE: MARKETING EXECUTIVE
NATURE OF JOB: FULL TIME

SALARY: KSHS. 15,000 PLUS COMMISSIONS
JOB LOCATION: KILELESHWA


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Sales
  • Actively promote the company’s logistics services including transport, warehousing, and freight solutions 
  • Identify, approach, and engage potential clients through calls, visits, networking, and digital outreach 
  • Generate and qualify leads, ensuring consistent pipeline growth 
  • Convert prospects into paying customers through effective follow-ups and negotiations 
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned 

Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients 
  • Understand client logistics needs and recommend suitable service solutions 
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and handle client inquiries professionally 
  • Follow up on service delivery to ensure client retention and repeat business 

Marketing & Brand Promotion
  • Support execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities 
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, events, and networking forums 
  • Contribute to improving brand awareness in the logistics market 
  • Assist in developing marketing materials and presentations 

Market Research & Reporting
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify new business opportunities 
  • Gather customer feedback and share insights to improve service delivery 
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, sales activities, and client interactions 
  • Submit weekly and monthly performance reports to management 

Coordination & Internal Support
  • Work closely with operations and dispatch teams to ensure smooth service delivery 
  • Coordinate with finance for invoicing and client billing follow-ups 
  • Support continuous improvement of sales and marketing processes

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing, sales, or business development
  • Experience in the logistics industry will be an added advantage
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets under minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools is desirable
  • Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented
