Job Summary
Keringet Organic Mushroom, a leading mushroom farming business specializing in varieties such as buttons and oysters etc., is seeking a Marketing and Salesperson to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing new markets, delivering our premium mushrooms to clients, and ensuring accurate record-keeping of sales and deliveries. The role offers the opportunity to work with a growing company dedicated to producing high-quality organic mushrooms.

Key Responsibilities
1. Market Sourcing:
o Identify and secure new market opportunities for mushrooms, targeting hotels, groceries, butcheries, shops, and other potential clients.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
2. Product Delivery:
o Deliver mushrooms to clients using a company-provided vehicle, ensuring timely and professional service.
o Handle delivery logistics, including route planning and ensuring the safe transportation of products.
3. Record Keeping:
o Maintain accurate records of sales, deliveries, and customer feedback.
o Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management.
4. Customer Relations:
o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring excellent customer service.
o Collect feedback to improve service and product offerings.
5. Promotional Activities:
o Collaborate with management to develop and implement marketing strategies, including promotions and campaigns to increase sales.

Qualifications and Skills
• Education: Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is an added advantage.
• Experience: At least 2 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in the agriculture or food industry.
• Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license and experience driving company vehicles.
• Skills:
o Strong negotiation and communication skills.
o Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
o Proficiency in record-keeping and basic computer skills (MS Office, Excel).
o Knowledge of the local market and customer needs is an advantage.
• Attributes:
o Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
o Self-motivated, proactive, and results oriented.
o Ability to work under minimal supervision.
