We looking for a  Maintenance Engineer based:  Kenya

Job Description :

The role reports to Production Manager and will be incharge of Maintenance Technicians.

This role ensures that production equipment operates efficiently and effectively. 

Main Responsibilities

a) Follow all safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.

b) Participate in safety training and contribute to the development of safety procedures.

c) Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment

d) Manage systems and equipment data storage and maintain high level of standards and accuracy.

e) Evaluate and recommend upgrades or modifications to improve equipment performance and efficiency.

f) Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts and maintenance supplies

g) To ensure periodic inspection and testing of utility systems such as transformers, electrical control systems, power generators and air compressors.

h) To prepare calibration schedules and ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of gauges, test machines, torquing tools and wrenches are undertaken.

i) Perform emergency repairs and corrective actions to minimize production interruptions

j) Conduct periodic inspections to ensure the efficient performance of work equipment and systems

k) Implement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing production processes

l) To ensure availability of work tools, machines, and other necessary equipment required for the performance of job duties.

Profil Request :

a) A minimum of bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from a recognized
Institution.

b) Relevant certifications in maintenance or engineering fields, such as CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) or equivalent, can be advantageous.

c) Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems related to assembly line equipment.

d) 5 years of relevant experience from a recognized organization.
