We looking for a Logistics Coordinator based: Kenya
Job Description :
The role reports to the General Manager and will be incharge of Logistics Technicians.
The role will ensure that logistics operations are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with production schedules by optimizing the movement, storage, and distribution of materials and products within the plant.
Main Responsibilities
a) Follow all safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
b) Participate in safety training and contribute to the development of safety procedures.
c) Plan and manage the layout and flow of materials within the assembly plant to optimize space and reduce handling times
d) Work closely with assembly line teams and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve and issues.
e) Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts and maintenance supplies
f) Monitor and address issues related to material quality and handling.
g) Prepare reports and present findings to management, recommending strategies for improvement.
h) Collaborate with other departments, such as production, engineering, and procurement, to align logistics operations with overall plant goals.
i) Coordinate with production teams to adjust logistics plans based on changes in production schedules or requirements.
Profil Request :
a) A minimum of bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management or equivalent
b) 5 years of relevant experience from a recognized organization
