Job Title: Learning and Engagement Manager

Location: Remote (currently looking into West and East Africa)

Type: Full-time

Reports to: Executive Director


Job Summary:

The Learning and Engagement Manager will coordinate and implement professional development programs and events, fostering engagement with stakeholders across African business schools and beyond. This role focuses on delivering impactful learning initiatives and enhancing relationships with member institutions, partners, and participants.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver professional development programs, including workshops, webinars, and training sessions.
  • Collaborate with trainers and subject matter experts to ensure the delivery of high-quality learning content.
  • Organize professional events and networking opportunities, managing logistics and participant communication.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with AABS members and stakeholders, acting as a primary liaison.
  • Collect feedback and evaluate program outcomes to enhance effectiveness and relevance.
  • Stay informed about trends in business education to innovate and adapt learning initiatives.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience in program coordination, learning and development, or event management.
  • Familiarity with higher education and the African business school ecosystem is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work remotely and travel occasionally as needed.
  • Ability to work independently, think strategically, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
