Lean Specialist Executive

• Customize standard Lean training materials, design them according to the target audience and conduct in house Lean training programs to impart knowledge and improve the skills of relevant Team Members
  
• Engage in Gemba walks, Engage with Team Members, Team Leaders, Group Leaders, and process owners regularly, understand the current situation, identify process deviations, and involve all stakeholders in maintaining and improving the standards established
  
• Implement new practices and processes to the production floor/operations and carry out special Strategic projects through continuous improvement to facilitate smooth functioning.
  
• Facilitate and capture learnings from consultant visits and internal resource persons and ensure they are retained for continuous business improvement
  
• Generate information on lean implementation status through reports, graphs and prepare visula displays in order to deliver improvements in the production floor and facilitate management decisions.
  
• Coordinate, record, and share relevant information of tiered review meetings to transfer knowledge and keep all relevant stakeholders up to date on the status.
  
• Support process owners in conducting and reviewing problem solving using PDCA
  
• Drive digitalization initiatives through usage of digital solutions and adhere to the team towards digital platforms and decision-making.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in fields such as Business Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations Management
• Relevant coursework includes lean principles, process improvement, project management, and statistical analysis.  
  
• Advanced education might focus on strategic management and leadership within lean methodologies.  
• Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization both internally and externally
• Excellent interpersonal skills to influence decisions that affect assigned projects
• Self-motivated and displays the skills required to develop and motivate employees
• Capable of working under pressure and short completion times on projects
• Familiar with manufacturing methods and systems
• Exposure to digital data analytical platforms is an added advantage
• Work experience in a similar capacity would be an added advantage
