Principal Accountabilities
Reporting:
Leading the Naivasha region business partnering function that includes providing all weekly and monthly performance reports, analyses, bridges and presenting to Head of FP&A and senior management Preparation of reports with analysis for the monthly business review with senior leadership team.
1) Work closely with various departments to understand the financial implications of their decisions and ensure alignment with overall financial goals within the region and across the Flowers vertical. Performance Monitoring:
2) Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze their impact on financial.
3) Leading on the implementation and ongoing use of our end-to-end product profitability insight tools, embedding into decision-making and driving better end-to-end decisions.
4) Provide Crop Costings, including P&Ls by Crop, Customer and Cost Centre.
Forecasting and Budgeting:
5) Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts to guide business planning.
6) Strengthening quality and rigour of reporting on P&L.
Commercial Finance:
7) Partner with the commercial, operations and finance teams, supporting with decision-making and driving performance improvement. Leading on provision of financial support for customer contract tenders and new business development, building robust financial models and challenging assumptions to optimise bid success and profitability.
8) There will be opportunities to lead transformational projects, which require end-to-end and cross- functional approaches.
9) Promote Finance as a key Business Partner, which is embedded across the business and trusted to provide challenge, support and critical thinking to stakeholders.
10) Any other ad-hoc duties as required.
Key Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Professional qualification is preferred CPA (k) or ACCA
• At least 5-10 years of experience is required preferably in Manufacturing or FMCG
