Laboratory Technologist (3 Positions)

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests accurately and timely.
• Collect, prepare, and analyze samples following standard operating procedures.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring regular calibration and servicing.
• Document and report test results promptly and accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify the Laboratory In-Charge of required supplies.
• Assist in quality assurance and quality control activities to maintain high testing standards.
• Handle biohazard materials safely, adhering to established protocols.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training.
• Perform any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences from a recognized institution.
• Valid practicing license from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board KMLTTB.
• At least 2 years of experience in a busy clinical or hospital laboratory setting.
• Proficiency in handling laboratory equipment and diagnostic procedures.
• Demonstrated proficiency and computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and email
