Job summary
The Kitchen Cashier/Dispatch is responsible for ensuring all food orders are accurately recorded, posted, and billed before preparation and dispatch. The role supports operational efficiency, accountability, and revenue control within the restaurant/bar.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and post all food orders into the POS system before preparation or service and dispatched.
- Ensure no order is dispatched from the kitchen without proper system entry and billing.
- Verify that all takeaway and delivery orders are recorded, paid, and confirmed prior to release.
- Cross-check kitchen order tickets against system entries to ensure accuracy.
- Issue receipts for all transactions and maintain proper transaction records.
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and timely order flow.
- Handle customer billing inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and security of the cashier workstation.
- Adhere to internal controls, audit requirements, and company procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Certificate or diploma in hospitality, business, or a related field (added advantage).
- Previous experience as a cashier in a restaurant, bar, or similar environment.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Strong numerical and reconciliation skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
