Junior Architectural Designer

We are a small and ambitious studio working across the field of residential & commercial interiors. Studio Komorebi focuses on a refined and holistic approach to creating spaces, prioritizing user-centric design over trends. We work on projects across residential and commercial interiors, furniture design, and branding.

Are you a creative and detail-driven designer ready to hit the ground running? We're looking for a Junior Architectural Designer to join our team in Nairobi.

📍 Location: Nairobi, Kenya

🕐 Employment Type: Full-Time

This is a full-time, on-site role for a junior designer eager to contribute meaningfully from day one. You'll work across a range of residential and commercial projects, supporting the design process from concept through to execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and support the team across all project phases
• Produce drawings, presentations, and visualisations
• Assist with material research, mood boards, and design documentation
• Collaborate closely with the principal designer and project teams
• Attend site visits, take measurements, and manage on-site coordination as required

What We're Looking For

• A degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and Enscape
• Proficiency in Revit is a plus
• A self-starter attitude - someone who takes initiative and owns their work
