We are in kids' collections business and the joiner will be expected to support in the production of kids' wood furniture. The joiner should be able to work with various materials, interpret blueprints, execute precise measurements and manufacture high quality products within a tight deadline. Should be proficient in using hand and power tools.

Job Description/Requirements
The core tasks of a joiner include:
· Selecting appropriate materials for the project, including the type and grade of wood.
· Marking out precise cutting lines on materials using pens, pencils, and measuring tools.
· Utilizing a variety of hand tools and machinery to cut and shape wood, ensuring smooth finishes.
· Assembling cut and shaped pieces using nails, screws, glue, or clamps.
· Ensuring all pieces are correctly fitted and secure to meet safety standards.
· Finishing surfaces by sanding, staining, or varnishing, depending on the project requirements.
· Maintaining tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good condition and safe to use.
· Adhering to all safety procedures and regulations.
Qualifications
· Proven experience as a joiner or similar role.
· Proficiency in using hand tools and machines.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, designs and plans.
· Creative, innovative and specific to a quality woodworking project.
· Strong knowledge of carpentry materials.
· Excellent hand-eye coordination.
· High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification is a plus.
