Job Description/Requirements
- Source and Select Suppliers: Identify and select reliable suppliers who can provide quality products at competitive prices.
- Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible deals for the restaurant.
- Manage Inventory: Monitor inventory levels and place orders to ensure that the restaurant is adequately stocked.
- Track and Analyze Procurement Data: Track procurement data to identify cost- saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
- Maintain Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to procurement policies and procedures, as well as food safety and quality standards.
- Cost Control: Implement cost-saving strategies to optimize the procurement budget.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in procurement or supply chain management is preferred
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
