JOB SUMMARY
Mustek East Africa, a premier ICT services and distribution company, seeks a dynamic and driven IT Training Sales Executive to promote and facilitate IT training programs in collaboration with Mecer Inter-Ed, our sister company based in South Africa. The role involves engaging corporate clients in Nairobi and beyond, driving sales of Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) programs, and ensuring seamless delivery of these solutions to meet client needs.Key QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.Experience: 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in IT services, training, or certifications.Skills and AttributesCore Skills:Strong knowledge of IT certifications and training solutions (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, CompTIA).Excellent communication and presentation skills.Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills.Technical Proficiency:Familiarity with VILT platforms and e-learning solutions.Preferred Attributes:Understanding of IT training programs and certifications.Experience in a corporate sales environment, focusing on professional development solutions.Passion for technology and continuous learning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales & Business DevelopmentIdentify and target corporate clients for IT training solutions, such as Microsoft certifications.Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets.Conduct client presentations and demonstrations, emphasizing the value of Mustek’s training offerings.2. Client Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients as the primary contact for training inquiries.Assess client training needs and recommend tailored VILT solutions.Collaborate with the South Africa-based training delivery team to ensure client satisfaction.3. Market Research & StrategyAnalyze market trends and monitor competitor offerings in IT training and certifications.Provide insights to enhance product positioning and identify new opportunities.Gather and report client feedback to improve training programs and services.4. Training Facilitation & SupportCoordinate with trainers in South Africa to schedule and deliver VILT sessions.Manage logistical and administrative aspects of training programs, including enrollments, communication, and follow-ups.Ensure all certifications and accreditations are accurately documented and delivered to clients.5. Reporting & AnalyticsMaintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and training schedules.Prepare regular performance reports, including sales metrics, client feedback, and market trends, for senior management.
