Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management:

• Ensure the infrastructure operates with the right link and cost budget, maintaining the required service level.
• Plan and implement projects according to timelines.
• Upgrade, optimize, and reduce costs.
• Advise management on technology solutions to increase efficiency, save costs, and improve margins.

SLA and Performance Management:

• Ensure all services operate within the required SLA with the highest possible efficiency.
• Manage spares, tools, equipment, and skills to maintain uptime and performance for all services and infrastructure.
• Optimize all services for maximum efficiency.

Operations:

• Monitor all services, links, and infrastructure 24/7, with an established escalation matrix. Avoid single points of failure.
• Conduct regular customer meetings alongside colleagues to provide updates on service delivery, project progress, improvement plans, and upgrade options.
• Manage and deliver customer and infrastructure-related projects on time.

Reporting:

• Provide regular reports on operations, improvements, KPIs, upgrades, and asset utilization.

Asset Management:

• Ensure all assets are in proper working or storage condition, tagged with purchase, installation, repair, RMA, and other details.
• Maximize asset monetization and highlight this area in reports.

Team Management and Collaboration:

• Manage and mentor direct reports, assigning responsibilities and work schedules as needed.
• Train the department and other teams, including NOC, Satellite, and others, on the integration of RF and IP services.
• Collaborate with other departments to offer the best services to customers, manage infrastructure, meet SLA, and produce monitoring and performance reports.

IT:

• ERP and Automation: Align with the company's vision on ERP implementation and automation, drafting policies to support the requirements.
• Lead the IT team to achieve company goals and support staff in managing network security, web security, and devices.
• Implement platforms to automate workflows and processes, integrating services for internal monitoring, management, and customer reporting.

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 10+ years of experience in IP and IT infrastructure management. Experience in the telecom industry is an added advantage.
• Certifications: CCNP, CCNA, IP, CCSE, CCIE.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Knowledge of SPF, Ethernet, Frame Relay, DHCP, MPLS, SDWAN, DNS, IP address administration, domain management, Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching protocols, and transport protocol ATM.
• Over 5 years of experience with Cisco, Juniper, Sophos hardware and IOS (routers, switches).
• 5+ years of experience in a Telecom/ISP/MSO environment.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting complex large-scale TCP/IP networks, with a minimum of 2 years in an ISP/MSO environment.
• Experience working with submarine cable topology.
• Knowledge of ERP automation systems.
