Job Description/Requirements
The Insurance Advocacy Foundation (IAF) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Professional Interviewer to conduct live interviews with key professionals within the insurance industry ecosystem. The interviews will be broadcasted across IAF’s social media platforms and YouTube channel to engage and inform the public about critical issues, trends, and innovations in the insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Live Interviews: Engage with industry professionals, policymakers, and other stakeholders in the insurance ecosystem to conduct insightful and compelling live interviews.
- Prepare Interview Content: Research interview subjects and topics to prepare relevant questions and discussion points that align with IAF’s mission and goals.
- Facilitate Discussions: Skillfully facilitate discussions, ensuring a balanced and informative conversation that highlights key issues and insights.
- Post-Production Coordination: Collaborate with the video production team to ensure high-quality recordings and assist in the review and editing process as needed.
- Social Media Engagement: Work with IAF’s social media team to promote the interviews and maximize audience reach and engagement.
- Flexibility in Scheduling: Be available to conduct interviews as needed, sometimes on short notice, depending on the availability of interviewees.
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in conducting professional interviews, particularly within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with a wide range of professionals.
- Research Abilities: Strong research skills to prepare thoroughly for each interview.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with digital platforms and social media, with an understanding of how to engage audiences online.
- Professionalism: Must maintain a high level of professionalism and represent IAF in a positive manner during all interactions.
- Availability: Flexibility to conduct interviews as needed, including outside regular business hours.
Remuneration:
- Compensation will be based per interview, with rates negotiated depending on the scope and requirements of each interview.
