Job Description/Requirements

A leading and esteemed software company is in the process of recruiting dynamic, innovative, and results-driven individuals for the role of Information Technology Consultant.

 

We are seeking Information Technology Technical Consultants with a demonstrated hands-on knowledge of Information Systems. Candidates with a First Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or Information Systems, possessing skills in databases and operating systems, and complemented by specialized training or relevant experience, will be given due consideration. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one (1) year of work experience in IT Support, coupled with strong communication, organizational, training, and facilitation skills. Knowledge of basic accounting and/or inventory management is a requirement. A willingness to travel is essential.


The primary responsibilities of the role include providing initial design consultation services, implementing and training clients on Hospitality Software, and offering ongoing technical support.

The ideal candidate would be enthusiastic about technology, while possessing a blend of technical and interpersonal skills, and thriving in a collaborative environment.


Responsibilities:

Systems Implementation:

• Participate in the installation and configuration of industry specific application for our clients.

• Ensure the seamless integration of our software solutions with clients' operations.


Training:

• Provide comprehensive training to end-users on application functionalities.

• Conduct training sessions to educate clients on the effective use of the software application.


Technical Support:

• Offer ongoing technical support to clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

• Collaborate with the other software support teams to address and resolve complex technical issues.


Client Interaction:

• Interact with clients effectively, understanding their needs, and ensuring optimal system performance.

• Provide initial design consultation services to tailor solutions to clients' requirements.


Documentation:

• Maintain detailed documentation of the implemented solutions, configurations and customizations.

• Contribute to the development of knowledge base articles for common software support issues.


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in application implementation and support.

• Computer Science or Information Systems is advantageous.

• Knowledge and implementation experience of accounting and inventory management software


Technical Skills:

• Proven experience in software application installation, configuration, and support.

• Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues.

• Familiarity with databases and operating systems.


Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

• Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and training.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


Adaptability:

• Ability to adapt to new technologies and stay updated on industry trends.

• Willingness to travel is essential for client engagements.


Team Collaboration:

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
