Job Description/Requirements
1.Curriculum Development:
- Develop and implement engaging and relevant ICT curriculum aligned with IGCSE Pearson standards and the school's educational philosophy.
- Create innovative lesson plans that incorporate a variety of teaching methodologies, including project-based learning, inquiry-based learning, and problem-solving.
2.Classroom Instruction:
- Deliver inspiring and effective ICT lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Utilize a range of teaching strategies, including technology tools and resources, to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
3.Assessment and Evaluation:
- Develop and administer fair and reliable assessments to evaluate student progress and achievement.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their learning and growth.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
4.Technology Integration:
- Integrate technology into the curriculum to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest educational technology trends and best practices.
- Provide technical support to staff and students as needed.
5.Professional Development:
- Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share expertise and best practices.
- Contribute to the school's overall mission and vision.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Proven experience teaching ICT in an international school setting.
- Strong knowledge of educational technology tools and applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- TSC Number is required
- 2-5 Years experience in British national curriculum (BNC, IGCSE) is an added advantage
- Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Resilience and a positive attitude
- The ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Superb interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
