Job Summary

The job holder will be responsible for facilitating employee relations and resolving any human resource issues which includes; handling employee internal communications, grievances/complains, disciplinary matters as well as the office administration which includes Office hygiene, organization and HR data and records management while ensuring fair treatment and compliance with company policies and employment laws.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities

°  Ensuring the Company's treatment of employees is consistent with its core business values and objectives.

°  Organize and maintain personnel records, enter new data, and update previous employee data in internal HR databases.

°  Answer any employee queries about people or HR-related issues, and help them resolve them internally

°  Handling employee complaints, managing grievance procedures, and facilitating counseling with other stakeholders.

°  Investigating and resolving critical employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.

°  Maintaining of the Employee Register within the HRM System – Staff appointment and benefits allocation etc.

°  Management of Staff Medical Schemes and act as contact to the medical providers and prepared periodic status reports on the same to senior management.

°  Manage employee’s disciplinary procedure as per the HR Policy and procedure and the Labour Laws.

°  In close liaison with the Payroll Section, ensure proper communication and explanations are offered to the employees on all payroll inputs effected on their payroll as well as the inputs as a result of changes in statutory deductions.

°  Manage employee exit procedure as per the HR Policy and procedure and guidelines and prepare requisite reports on the same accordingly.

°  Actively participate in the preparation and monitoring of human resource annual budgets

°  Monitoring staff attendance and employee welfare issues.

°  Collating and analyzing employee feedback across all levels on a regular basis and revising people programs and policies to generate more positive outcomes.

°  Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement.

°  Manage and run the HRIS software of the organization, and make sure it’s updated.

°  Perform various administrative duties within this role.


Qualifications and Competencies

°  Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.

°  Diploma in a Business or HR related Field.

°  At least 3 years’ relevant experience in employee relations and Industrial relations matters.

°  Should have in-depth knowledge of employment legislation and strong knowledge of HR policies & procedures.

°  Good communication, analytical and negotiation skills.

°  Team player

°  You have strong problem-solving, negotiation & influencing skills.

°  An active member of HR Certification Body.
