The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all human resources activities within a group of SMEs. This role will involve strategic planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.

Job Description/Requirements
●Job Planning:
○Conduct job analysis to determine the skills, knowledge, and abilities required for each position.
○Develop job descriptions and specifications.
○Assist in creating and updating organizational charts.
●Recruitment:
○Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
○Screen and interview candidates.
○Conduct reference checks and background screenings.
○Manage the onboarding process, including orientation, training, and benefits administration.
●Induction and Onboarding:
○Develop and deliver comprehensive induction programs for new hires.
○Ensure new employees have the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
○Coordinate with department managers to assign new hires to appropriate roles.
●Performance Evaluation:
○Establish performance expectations and goals for employees.
○Conduct regular performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide feedback.
○Identify training and development needs to support employee growth.
●Employee Relations:
○Handle employee inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively.
○Address workplace conflicts and grievances.
○Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
●HR Policy Development:
○Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws.
○Review and update existing policies to ensure they are current and effective.
●Talent Management:
○Identify and develop high-potential employees.
○Create succession plans for key positions.
○Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
Qualifications and Experience
●Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
●Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the SME sector
●Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations
●Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
●Ability to build relationships with employees at all levels
●Strong organizational and time management skills
Salary: 50,000 Kenya Shillings
