Designation: Heavy Equipment Machinery Parts Sales Person

Department: Sales

Reports to: Managing Director

Location: Nairobi

Duties & Responsibilities: 

    a) Identifying possible clients

    b) Visiting the clients

    c) Providing the needed advise regarding the business as per the market trends

    d) Meeting set sales targets

    e) Taking orders, checking inventory, arranging for delivery and handling returns and exchanges

    f) Updating records, generating reports and maintaining customer relationships

Qualifications & Requirements 

    a) Excellent knowledge in machinery parts and ability to advise clients accordingly

    b) Must be professionally aggressive with very good field sales experience

    c) Minimum of 3 years sales experience working with a recognized heavy machinery company, familiar with brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hyundai etc.

    d) Must have keen interest in machinery parts and accessories and be up to date with the latest technologies and trends

    e) Experience in sales of heavy machinery parts and knowledgeable in hydraulic motors. 

    f) Diploma in automotive engineering from a recognized institution

    g) Must have a valid driving license with a proven and clean driving record

    h) Must have strong communication skills, customer service skills, sales skills, negotiation skills, IT and presentation skills

    i) Must be self motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team

    j) Must have integrity, professionalism and be highly ethical at work

    k) Must be flexible to travel and be based in different work stations from time to time as would be required by the company operations
