Job Responsibilities:
1. Approve, supervise, and document hazardous operations; verify the safety of the on-site work environment; and provide safety training to personnel involved in hazardous operations.
2. Conduct daily hazard inspections (e.g., failure to wear PPE, physical contact with rotating machinery), implement corrective actions, and maintain records; administer safety incentives and disciplinary measures for employees, part-time safety officers, and ERT team members to encourage active participation in workplace safety management.
3. Establish and update the list of part-time safety officers for each area; supervise these officers in overseeing weekly inspections of fire extinguishers and fire hydrants in each warehouse, and ensure weekly testing of the fire suppression system.
4. Establish and regularly update the list of ERT team members; develop ERT team training plans; conduct quarterly fire drills in accordance with fire drill standards.
5. Conduct monthly electrical inspections and maintain inspection records; perform monthly combustible material inspections. If changes occur on the combustible material map, update it promptly and remind area supervisors that different types of combustible materials must be stored separately.
6. Conduct safety risk assessments and audits to ensure that the factory’s safety management and measures comply with national regulations.
7. Establish a safety training mechanism for new employees, as well as a system for sharing, training, and reflecting on factory safety incidents.
8. Complete the closed-loop management of safety incident investigations, follow-ups, and corrective actions.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
● NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent safety certification.
● At least 3 years of safety management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
● Strong understanding of risk management, hazard identification, and accident prevention strategies.
● Extensive experience in safety audits, compliance reporting, and regulatory liaison.
● Ability to train and influence employees at all levels to comply with safety protocols.
