Job Description/Requirements
- Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting Tool box training and preparing documentation.
- Scheduling and conducting Safety trainings.
- Timely reporting and recording of all health and safety incidents.
- Assist in investigations, follow up and closing of incidents.
- Focus on Fire prevention and emergency response.
- Assist management with the implementation of the HSE management system.
- Assist in Conducting and facilitating risk assessments and HSE audits.
- Implementing and communicating organizational policies for health, safety, and the environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- University degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety or it's equivalent.
- Ability to work with all Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word and power point.
- Knowledge to integrated management systems audit is added advantage
- 1-2 years’ experience working as an HSE Specialist/Officer.
- Pleasant personality and trainable
- Good command of English and Kiswahili.
- Fire fighting certificate will be an added advantage.
