JOB SUMMARY

Job OverviewWe are seeking a proactive Head of Marketing to lead brand visibility and customer engagement efforts for a bustling, upscale restaurant. This role is responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies, both online and offline, to attract new customers and foster loyalty among existing patrons.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy DevelopmentDevelop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to boost foot traffic and drive sales.Identify and tailor strategies for target markets to maximize campaign effectiveness.Digital MarketingManage the restaurant's social media profiles (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) and engage with customers online.Oversee the restaurant’s website, keeping menus, promotions, and event details updated.Implement email marketing campaigns to promote special offers and events.Promotional ActivitiesPlan and organize events such as tastings, themed nights, and holiday specials.Coordinate cross-promotional opportunities with local businesses and influencers.Content CreationCreate engaging content for social media, newsletters, and the restaurant blog.Capture high-quality photos and videos to showcase dishes, events, and ambiance.Market ResearchAnalyze competitor strategies and industry trends for differentiation opportunities.Gather customer feedback to refine marketing approaches and improve guest experience.Brand ManagementEnsure consistent branding across all marketing materials.Maintain the restaurant’s reputation through effective public relations strategies.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Increase in foot traffic and salesEngagement levels on social media platformsSuccessful execution of promotional events and campaignsConsistency in branding and customer feedback scoresContent engagement and customer satisfaction scoresQualificationsDegree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related field.1-2 years of experience in marketing, ideally within the hospitality or restaurant industry.Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, and content creation.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Creativity and solid organizational skills, with experience managing multiple projects.Experience with marketing software (email platforms, social media tools, analytics).Key Skills and Personal AttributesSkills: Management skills, multitasking, flexibility, ability to thrive in a high-traffic environment.Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, creativity, integrity, effective communication, team player, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills.Work Context and EnvironmentWorking Hours: Primarily daytime/evening shifts, with 48 hours per week and additional hours as required for events and peak times
