Job summary
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of IT Systems Support to lead and manage all system support operations. The role requires a strong leader who can take full ownership of the support function, ensure timely resolution of issues, and drive completion of system-related tasks and projects.
Job descriptions & requirements
Reports To: Head of Operations (HOO)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the IT systems support team (all support staff will report to this role)
2. Oversee day-to-day support operations and ensure efficient service delivery
3. Manage and track support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to deadlines
4. Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities
5. Oversee virtual environments (VMs) and system performance
6. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors
7. Drive completion of pending tasks, projects, and system improvements
8. Establish and enforce support processes, documentation, and reporting standards
