Position Summary: 

The Head of Digital will strategically and operationally drive the digital transformation and growth of our pan-African career development and recruitment solutions companies in West and East Africa. This position entails full ownership of the digital strategy across all brands, ensuring seamless integration of digital marketing, automation, and innovation to enhance user experiences and drive measurable results.

The role will oversee developing and optimising digital customer journeys and platforms, ensuring effective user engagement, retention, and conversions. With responsibility for leading a diverse pan-African team of digital specialists, the Head of Digital will champion best practices, foster team development, and establish a culture of innovation and performance excellence.

As a key contributor to the company’s success, this role requires a visionary leader with deep expertise in digital ecosystems, a strong analytical mindset, and a passion for delivering cutting-edge solutions tailored to the African market.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead the creation and implementation of a cohesive digital strategy aligned with organisational goals across all brands.

Oversee digital platform design, development, and optimisation to enhance user journeys and improve engagement.

Drive the adoption of digital automation tools and innovative solutions to optimise processes and improve user experiences.

Design strategies to increase user engagement, retention, and digital conversions through data-driven insights and creative initiatives.

Establish KPIs, track digital campaign performance, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

Manage and mentor a diverse team of African digital specialists, fostering growth, collaboration, and professional excellence.

Tailor digital strategies to different African markets' unique needs and behaviours, ensuring cultural and regional relevance.

Work closely with marketing, product, and technology teams to align digital initiatives with broader company objectives.

Champion digital best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards, data privacy laws, and ethical guidelines.

Stay ahead of trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and maintain a competitive edge.


Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.

Proven experience in managing and implementing digital marketing strategies, automation, and innovation at a senior level.

Strong understanding of digital platforms, tools, analytics, and trends, including SEO, SEM, CRM, and marketing automation systems.

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop diverse, high-performing teams across multiple regions.

Strong capability to design and execute strategies that align with business objectives and drive measurable results.

Proficiency in using data analytics and metrics to inform decisions, optimise campaigns, and measure success.

Deep understanding of user experience design and customer journey optimisation.

Track record of driving digital innovation and adopting emerging technologies.

Familiarity with the unique digital landscapes, customer behaviours, and African market dynamics.

Exceptional ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate complex digital concepts to stakeholders.

Salary: 

$3,000 (Gross monthly)
