Job Description/Requirements

Credit Strategy: Develop and implement the bank’s credit strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives. 


Credit Origination: Oversee credit origination, evaluation, and sanctioning processes to maintain a sound and profitable portfolio. 


Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage credit risk, ensuring proactive portfolio management. 


Compliance: Ensure compliance with credit governance frameworks, policies, and regulatory requirements. 


Portfolio performance & Data Analytics: Utilize credit data analytics to drive insights, enhance decision-making, and improve credit performance. 


Collection & Recovery Initiatives: Lead collections and recoveries to minimize non-performing loans and optimize recoveries.



 Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, or a related field. 
  • A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred. 
  • Ten (10) years’ proven credit experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within the banking sector. 
  • Strong analytical skills to assess credit risk, evaluate portfolio performance, and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and trends
