JOB SUMMARY

On behalf  of a client, we are seeking a highly skilled and creative Head Chef to lead their culinary team in delivering an unparalleled fine dining experience. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Head Chef will oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including menu development, food preparation, and team management. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for gastronomy, extensive experience in high-end dining, and the ability to inspire and mentor a team of chefs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.Develop and execute innovative and seasonal menus that reflect the restaurant’s culinary vision.Supervise and mentor two chefs and a larger kitchen team to maintain excellence in execution and efficiency.Oversee inventory management, food cost control, and supplier relations.Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and regulatory compliance in the kitchen.Collaborate with the front-of-house team to create an exceptional dining experience for guests.Monitor industry trends and introduce new techniques and flavors to keep the menu fresh and exciting.Manage kitchen budgeting, cost control, and overall financial performance.Qualifications & Experience:Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in fine dining restaurants, with at least 3 years in a Head Chef role.Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a team.Expertise in international and contemporary cuisines, with a focus on innovation and presentation.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a high-pressure environment.Strong financial acumen and ability to manage kitchen budgets and costs.Passion for creating extraordinary culinary experiences.
