OJ Farm Ltd is an 8-acre mixed-use farm located in Maseno, Vihiga County, dedicated to sustainable farming, landscaping, and land management. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to maintain the farm’s land, gardens, and outdoor spaces, ensuring a clean, organized, and productive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and care for the farm’s gardens, lawns, trees, and flower beds.

• Perform landscaping activities, including planting, pruning, weeding, and watering.

• Ensure the grounds are clean and well-maintained, including pathways and open spaces.

• Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems.

• Manage soil health by applying fertilizers and organic treatments as needed.

• Handle pest and weed control using eco-friendly methods.

• Assist with the upkeep of fences, farm structures, and outdoor installations.

• Ensure the farm’s general appearance is attractive, safe, and well-organized.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or groundskeeping.

• Knowledge of plants, soil health, and landscaping techniques.

• Ability to operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment.

• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor in outdoor conditions.

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for land and environmental care.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
