Job Description/Requirements
Job Location - Nyamira County, Kenya
Industry - Agricultural – Tea Industry
The Job Holder shall be responsible for the following;
1. Visiting all the tea weighting stations (sheds) in the designated route.
2. Inspecting all the leaf for quality requirements (2 leaves and a bud leaf count)
3. Purchasing, weighing and delivery of the purchased leaf to the factory for manufacture.
4. Issuing and distributing delivery notes to the farmers.
5. Ensuring that the procured leaf is loaded directly from the weighing terminal to the truck while ensuring that its properly stack in the truck by the loader.
6. Be a contact person (representative of the Company) to the contracted farmers.
7. Ensure to always maintain good discipline and Public Relations as well as utmost respect to the contracted farmers.
Qualifications and Competencies
1. Diploma in a Agriculture or Business related Field
2. At least 2 years experience in a similar field
3. High levels of integrity, team player and good customer service skills
4. Proficiency in Computer packages
5. Good communication skills, negotiation and analytical skills
