GRAPHIC DESIGN

REPORTING TO: MANAGING DIRECTOR

Overall Job Summary

The job holder will be responsible for improving design of products that the company is currently producing as well as designing new and unique products that will meet the needs of our diverse range of clients.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure timely development of artworks 

• Patiently make adjustments and / corrections on artworks for client’s approval

• Continuously assess the company’s current products and improve on design 

• Design / source new and unique products for our client’s

• Ensure quality production of items as per client’s specifications.

• Communicate with the Client on specifications on artworks and designs 

• Coordinate with sales and production team to ensure quality of the products and artworks before production

Additional duties:

• Checking the quality and quantity of products prior to delivery 

• Assist in packaging products as well as delivering them when need arises 

• Follow up with production team to ensure timely dispatch of products.

• Source samples for client approval 

Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma in Graphic Design and Communication 

• 1 Year experience in creative and art department

• Possess basic drawing skills 

• Must have creative flair 

• Should be able to analyze products and develop new ideas

• Ability to interpret briefs from clients 

• Should be computer literate and familiar with design software such as, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Corel Draw. Should also have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

• Should be able to see worldwide trend on relevant products and customize the same for our customers.

• Should be able to work within a team

• Should have good communication skills and be keen on detail

• Should be flexible in terms of ideas, concepts and working hours
