1. Grant Writing and Fundraising
●Research and identify potential funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations,
corporations, and individual donors.
●Develop and write compelling grant proposals, ensuring they align with the Foundation’s mission and
programmatic needs.
●Manage the full proposal process, ensuring deadlines are met and proposals are submitted on time.
●Prepare progress reports, budget updates, and final reports for funders, ensuring transparency and
accountability.
●Build and maintain relationships with current and potential funders to secure long-term support for the
Foundation’s programs.
2. Outreach and Relationship Management
●Develop and implement an outreach strategy to raise awareness of the Foundation’s programs, mission,
and impact.
● Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, community leaders, partners,
and volunteers.
●Plan and execute outreach events, community workshops, and informational sessions to engage with
various audiences.
●Manage communications materials (newsletters, brochures, social media posts) to promote the
Foundation’s initiatives.
3. Program Management and Fieldwork
● Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of field-based outreach programs and activities.
●Ensure that field programs are aligned with the Foundation’s goals, are effective, and meet donor
expectations.
● Supervise logistics for community outreach initiatives, including training sessions, workshops, and local
events.
●Monitor and evaluate the success and impact of field programs, ensuring alignment with organizational
objectives and goals.
4. Reporting and Documentation
● Track and document outcomes of grant applications, outreach activities, and field programs.
●Maintain comprehensive records of grant opportunities, proposals, and donor communications.
●Prepare reports and presentations on outreach activities, donor engagement, and program impact for
internal and external stakeholders.
●Ensure the timely and accurate submission of grant reports, proposals, and activity updates to donors and
partners.
Skills & Qualifications
●Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Social Sciences, Communications, or a related field.
●Proven years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, program management, or community outreach,
ideally within the nonprofit sector.
●Proven track record of writing successful grant proposals and securing funding.
● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to write persuasive proposals and
reports.
●Experience with community outreach and managing field-based programs.
●Knowledge of grant-making organizations, foundations, and government funding agencies is highly
desirable.
●Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fundraising software (CRM systems) is a plus.● Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
