Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Front Office Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and clients, managing patient reception, handling billing procedures, and coordinating with Lab Technicians for test requests.

Job Description/Requirements

  • Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.
  • Manage billing procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with Lab Technicians to ensure timely and accurate testing requests.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Schedule patient appointments and meetings, ensuring proper time management.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Organize and file company documents to ensure easy access and proper documentation.
  • Address customer inquiries, provide information about services, and resolve complaints.
  • Assist in the processing of lab orders, returns, and provide necessary support throughout the process.
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient front office operation, contributing to a positive overall experience for patients and customers.


Qualifications, Requirements, and Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role within a HEALTHCARE FACILITY.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Diploma in Business.
  • Experience using a HMIS.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Willing to relocate to Machakos Town.
