Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile Food Runner and Butcher who will contribute to both the front-of-house and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will efficiently deliver food, assist with kitchen preparation, and ensure a seamless guest experience, all while maintaining high food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards. This role requires excellent multi-tasking, communication skills, and a dedication to providing top-notch service.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Food Runner Duties:
- Pick up food products from the kitchen and deliver them to guests promptly.
- Assist kitchen and service staff to maintain food quality, presentation, and timing for an optimal dining experience.
- Set up and maintain the front line with the necessary equipment, plateware, and smallwares.
- Restock workstations throughout the shift.
- Clean and prepare trays and tray stands for service.
- Read order tickets and track cooking times to ensure meals are delivered promptly and accurately.
- Ensure finished food is garnished and presented according to house specifications.
- Support servers in delivering a smooth and enjoyable guest experience.
- Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions, accidents, or injuries to the chef or manager on duty.
- Complete closing duties and assist in maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas.
- Clear dirty dishes and utensils from tables and work areas as needed.
- Complete side work as assigned by management.
Butcher Duties:
- Prepare and portion cuts of meat, fish, and poultry for service, ensuring proper storage and handling according to food safety regulations.
- Ensure that all butchery work is done in a clean, safe, and efficient manner.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to provide high-quality cuts that meet the restaurant’s specifications.
- Assist in managing inventory for meat and other proteins, restocking as necessary.
- Maintain all butchery equipment, ensuring they are properly sanitized and ready for use.
- Assist with food prep as needed for the daily menu, ensuring meats are portioned and ready for service.
- Monitor and track meat orders to ensure timely delivery and availability for kitchen use.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Candidates with marketing experience are highly encouraged to apply

- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Basic butchery skills with an understanding of portioning and meat preparation (preferred).
Education, Experience, and Licensing:
- Previous hospitality or kitchen experience, including butchery, is preferred.
- A current food handler’s card and other relevant certifications required.
