Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate finishing trades, including plastering, tiling, painting, flooring, carpentry, and gypsum works.
- Ensure high standards of quality and workmanship are maintained throughout the finishing phase.
- Plan, schedule, and allocate tasks to finishing teams to meet project deadlines.
- Read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations and company policies on-site.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to identify and rectify defects before handover.
- Maintain records of materials, labor, and work progress.
- Solve on-site problems efficiently and ensure any delays are minimized.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finishing Works Foreman or similar role in construction.
- Strong knowledge of finishing trades and construction techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
