Job Description/Requirements

  • Financial Operations Management: Execute all necessary financial operations for BrandActiv Kenya including, but not limited to, managing order receipt and the respective costing, facilitating sales invoice processing, and coordinating payment allocation procedures.
  • Statutory Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all statutory reporting and filings for BrandActiv Kenya, in compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements of the jurisdiction of Kenya.
  • Inventory Reconciliation: Conduct regular stock counts and oversee both system and physical reconciliations, thereby maintaining accurate inventory records and minimizing discrepancies.
  • Debtor and Payment Management: Manage and facilitate the proper follow-up on debtors and payments for BrandActiv Kenya, maintaining due diligence in accounts receivables and ensuring timely collections and financial settlements.
  • Liaising with Shared Services: Manage coordination with shared services provided from Mauritius to ensure that operations are conducted in compliance with the internal control framework in place.
  • Management Accounts Preparation: Assist in the preparation of management accounts for BrandActiv Kenya. This encompasses, but is not limited to, the processing of journal entries and the facilitation of other requisite financial adjustments, in accordance with prevailing accounting standards and practices.
  • Ad-Hoc Responsibilities: Additional responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by the Management.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance or any equivalent qualification related to the field.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in accounting, finance, auditing or Business Management in a rapidly growing business.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work remotely.
  • Detail oriented and ability to work and interpret figures and other financial information.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to address issues, especially in relation to internal controls, and effect change as required
  • Ability to always demonstrate a professional and objective perspective
