Job Description/Requirements
Requirements.
• Diploma in animal production and Health Management.
• Knowledge in poultry farm management.
• Good in communication skills.
• At least two years’ experience as extension officer
• Problem solver.
• Ability to work on short notice when demand spikes.
Roles & responsibilities.
• Creating collection points procedures.
• Liaising with farmers when the poultry birds are ready for sale.
• Organizes shipping of processed meat in refrigerated boxes.
• Make sure the production team adheres to every procedure on biosafety.
• Inspect brought in chicken of infections and flu.
• Keep records of chicken brought in by farmers.
• Make sure that the farmers are paid on time and for received poultry.
• Arrange exhibitions and talks for farmers.
