Feed Mill Operator

Location: Tanzania

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Feed Mill Operator to join our operations in Tanzania.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a production line to produce high-quality feed for the local market. They will work closely with the management team to ensure the feed meets the nutritional and quality requirements and to improve the overall efficiency of the production process.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the production line produce feed according to the established recipe for poultry and dogs

• Monitor the production process to ensure the feed meets quality standards

• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve them in an adequate time frame

• Perform routine maintenance on all equipment and maintain supporting documentation.

• Collaborate with the management team to identify and implement improvements to the feed production process

• Ensure the feed production area is kept clean and organized

• Maintain accurate records of feed production and inventory levels

Requirements:

• Experience in operating feed mill machinery, especially a twin screw extruder for feed production

• Strong understanding of animal nutrition and the principles of feed production

• Ability to identify and resolve problems with the feed production process

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
