Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
- Develop and modify designs for fabricated products.
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications.
- Run simulations for new machinery or products.
- Select appropriate materials for fabrication based on design requirements and cost.
Production and Fabrication:
- Supervise the fabrication process, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Work with fabricators and other production staff.
Quality Control:
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet safety and quality
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and design software (e.g., CAD, CAM).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of various fabrication processes and materials.
Education:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
