We are developing a sustainability-focused timber workplace project in Nairobi and require an MEP Engineer to assist with the coordination, review and preparation of electrical and mechanical services drawings for implementation and certification support.

Scope includes:

• Peparation and coordination of electrical and plumbing drawings;

• Review of partially completed plumbing and drainage works;

• Coordination of biodigester, rainwater and water reticulation systems;

• Review and coordination of imported equipment and systems already selected

• Coordination with EDGE and WELL sustainability consultants

• Preparation of implementation and as-installed drawings.

The project already has some completed slab and plumbing works and certain systems/equipment have already been ordered or installed.

Applicants should have:

• Eperience in electrical/mechanical/plumbing building services design

• Ability to prepare coordinated MEP drawings

• Experience coordinating with architects, contractors and consultants;

• Experience in sustainability-focused or low-impact building projects preferred

• Ability to coordinate practical MEP solutions supporting EDGE and WELL objectives including energy efficiency, water management, indoor air quality & ventilation 

• EBK registration preferred or ability to coordinate with a registered signatory engineer.
