Floral Design & Creativity

● Create unique and visually appealing floral arrangements for various occasions (e.g., weddings, birthdays, sympathy, corporate events).

● Stay current with floral trends, seasonal flowers, and design techniques.

● Customize designs based on client specifications, color palettes, and themes.

Client Interaction & Sales

● Consult with clients to understand their floral needs, preferences, and budgets.

● Provide professional recommendations on floral choices and styling.

● Maintain excellent customer service and follow-up throughout the sales cycle.

Floral Care & Maintenance

● Ensure proper care, handling, and conditioning of flowers and foliage.

● Monitor stock levels and remove expired or damaged inventory.

● Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work and display areas.

Operations & Inventory

● Source flowers and floral supplies from vendors or wholesalers as needed.

● Track inventory usage and assist with ordering to avoid shortages or overstock.

● Package arrangements securely for pick-up or delivery, ensuring quality and freshness.

Qualifications & Skills:

● Floristry Certificate.

● Minimum of 3 years' experience as a professional florist or floral designer.

● Strong sales and Marketing knowledge.

● Proven experience in a retail florist shop, event floral business, or similar environment.

● Strong artistic and creative ability in floral design.

● Good knowledge of flower varieties, seasonal availability, and floral care.

● Excellent communication and customer service skills.

● Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

● Physically fit to stand for long periods and lift floral buckets or arrangements.

● Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills is a plus.

● A formal qualification in floristry or horticulture is an advantage.
